A celebration of regional Victorian produce and Melbourne born and bred whisky

Farmer’s Daughters has teamed up with Starward Whisky to bring some of regional Victoria’s finest producers to Melbourne. Taking place at Starward’s Port Melbourne distillery, Graze + Grains will feature a produce market and campfire-cooked feast prepared by renowned Chef Alejandro Saravia, along with plenty of fresh produce, Starward Whisky, regional craft beer and wine.

Graze + Grains is a free event and everyone’s welcome. But choose our 'Feed Me' Campfire Feast option and we put in the hard yards for you. We’ll save you a spot inside our whisky garden at our shared feasting table then bring you the best campfire cooking to devour.
 
To start, indulge in rainbow trout lightly smoked over mountain pepper berry branches served with preserved lemon cream. We’ll match this with a Starward (New) Old Fashioned. With demerara sugar and Australian wattle seed, its sweet, nutty flavour pairs perfectly with trout.
 
The feast then moves on to Two-Fold whisky marinated, charcoal-grilled, free-range chicken served with brown butter roasted Jerusalem artichoke, creamed whisky grains with Prom Coast cheese, a seasonal salad with black garlic dressing and Starward whisky gravy. A light Two-Fold and Tonic will cut through goats cheese and black garlic beautifully.
 
Finally, dig into a farm style seasonal fruit tart served with country preserves and Butterfly Factory yoghurt, paired with Starward Solera to enhance the rich, fruity flavours.
 
Book your preferred time slot - spots on our shared table are limited so book for however many people will be joining you on the day. Each dining session is for 1 hour 45 minutes so leave yourself some time to browse the market before or after your meal and stay for a drink in our bar area.
